20th Birthday Celebrations at Alphabet
Celebrating 20 years in the transcription services industry
Yes, we’re celebrating Alphabet’s 20th year of operation in 2015, and what a journey it’s been. Casting our minds back to when it all started, we couldn’t have imagined how far things would develop in the 20 years following our launch.
Similar to many small business start-ups, we’ve had our shares of ups and downs. Thankfully, many more ups, allowing us to grow from very humble beginnings into an established and recognised brand, offering transcription services to clients on a global scale.
Challenges and opportunities over the years
We’ve lived through a variety of challenges and taken advantage of opportunities to grow and improve as a business. We certainly made the most of the internet revolution, which allowed us to transform from a business servicing mainly locally-based clients, to one which now has a global client base and can transact its business through our 256-bit encrypted online secure client portal. Quite a difference from receiving and returning work from clients by post in the early days!
We’ve also experienced the switch from working mainly with the old analogue formats to the now common digital formats in the transcription industry. This has made various aspects of transcription work, for both us and clients, much easier and has enabled greater flexibility and clearly has enabled us to offer a speedier service.
We’re proud to say that we’ve evolved along the way into a highly professional and client-centred operation, incorporating technological advances into our operations so as to offer our clients maximum ease, flexibility and a seamless experience when using our transcription services.
Crystal ball gazing
Looking back on developments over the past 20 years, it makes us wonder what we can expect to be dealing with in the next 20 years. With technology and connectivity moving forward rapidly, the mind boggles at the future opportunities which might exist, and of course the related challenges. One thing is for sure (even without a crystal ball to tell the future), Alphabet will continue to incorporate technological developments into our operations, if beneficial, and will look to optimise opportunities to continually enhance our operations in order to provide the best transcription services possible for our clients.
Let us take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all our clients for their support over the years, and we look forward to working with you in the future. Also to all who have helped make Alphabet the resounding success that it is today: to all staff, ex-staff and fellow contributors, a big heartfelt thank you to you all. And now, without further ado – let the celebrations begin!
